Beyond Basic Skills

We emphasize inner development and self-awareness as you learn to apply essential, yet challenging, relational skills in your work with clients.

When you enroll in our certificate program, we help you engage more deeply with the nuances of essential, yet challenging, relational skills such as skillfully introducing optimal stress for lasting change, successfully navigating transference~countertransference reactions, and negotiating vicarious trauma, activations, and triggers with sensitivity. What makes this certificate program unique is that we specifically focus on your inner development and self-awareness as you learn to apply relational skills with compassion, therapeutic presence, and integrity.

Each month, we do a deep dive into an essential relational skill so you can become more grounded in your unique professional expression.

Over the course of the program, we help you develop and refine skills you may have learned about from university classes, journals, articles, textbooks, or workshops, but now want to focus on more intentionally as you are seeing clients.
