This multimedia self-study course is designed for therapists who are looking for a brief training in offering optimally stressful conditions that precipitate change. With experiential exercises and vignettes, we teach you to learn from the inside out - creating generative experiences that allow you to directly apply relational wisdom within the therapeutic context. Although suitable for advanced practitioners, it is also accessible to early career mental health professionals and pre-professionals.
Best suited for early career professionals, but especially exciting to those looking to enhance their theoretical approaches with self-refection, self-awareness, mindfulness, and personal/professional growth. Please Note: CEs are awarded for instructional time only.
Integrative in its approach, the course curriculum includes insights from psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based interventions, including perspectives from Martha Stark, Paul Ornstein, Dan Siegel, Darlene Ehrenberg, Leslie S. Greenberg, Laura N. Rice, and Robert Elliott.
